Artificial intelligence has been defined as the ability of an entity to recognize, understand and act on data that have been programmed by humans. Artificial intelligence is often defined as the ability of computers to mimic or execute actions humans do, but with the added benefit of being able to process and handle large amounts of data. Currently, there are many technologies in use that are defined as artificial intelligence. Examples include computer chess and computer generated images, speech recognition programs and self-driving vehicles. Although artificial intelligence is still relatively new, almost all industries are moving toward automation and thus bringing more work closer to the hands of machines.

In fact, both are actually used to refer to a singular concept. Digital intelligence refers to how the human brain operates, while artificial intelligence refers to a specific capability.

The future of artificial intelligence include computers that can both think and talk. These machines will soon have the ability to create new knowledge by experience and data collected through their browsing history. They may be able to diagnose different medical conditions for their owners. They could even allow a person to control their own environment by controlling the lighting in their home. Their mobility may one day extend beyond the boundaries of their own body. Computer scientists are currently working on ways to build computers that are able to think and reason like people.

Although a lot of people are afraid of these artificially intelligent machines, there are a lot of experts who think that the fear is based on lack of understanding of how human brains work. According to research, a computer that can reason like a human does is already within our grasp. There are several expert systems that are already in use today, allowing machines to do all kinds of things. In fact, computer scientists are still trying to figure out how artificial intelligence is able to do what it does.

Experts believe that the first artificially intelligent machine will be self-driving cars. Self-driving cars will allow humans to take control of the road when it comes to using the highway. Self-driving cars will allow drivers to stay safe at the same time as letting them travel faster. Experts believe that self-driving cars will be a welcome addition to society. It will be interesting to see the advancements in this field as artificial intelligence becomes more advanced.

Another area that scientists believe is near and dear to artificial intelligence is computer science. With computers taking over nearly every aspect of our lives, artificial intelligence will likely soon have a say in how things are done. Artificial intelligence can easily replace most of the human professionals in computer science like programmers, system designers, and many more.

Artificial intelligent machines will be able to take care of the entire tasks that humans once did. This may cause a huge increase in productivity. The other thing that artificial intelligence will be able to do is make decisions that could potentially benefit humanity in various ways. Experts believe that as artificial intelligence becomes more advanced, it will be easier for people to interact with it. Soon, a machine that acts like a human could very well help us solve our problems like poverty, disease, and many more.
