Alan Turing came up with the idea if machines could think in his groundbreaking paper in 1950. Thought of as a science fiction piece, some researchers took notice and began working on the idea of giving machines the ability to feel like a human mind. Still, many were confused about how to make a machine intelligent. Giving machines the ability to think and make their own decisions was just a distant dream back then, but not today.

In the simplest words, Artificial Intelligence can be hardware, an algorithm, or software that shows some form of intelligence. In other words, one can anything that follows logic and reasoning is essentially artificially intelligent. Artificial intelligence comes in different forms depending on how you want to use it. For instance, the software assistance in your smartphone is powered by machine learning. Likewise, machines and robots feature elaborate forms of AI, including deep learning. These coded algorithms allow the machine to make its own logical decisions depending on circumstances. Novices tend to think of it as a technology that makes computers “smart.” Further, it would help if you know what AI is and what purposes it serves. The foremost reason for having AI is to have systems that can exhibit human intelligence to learn, advice, and explain things to users. Besides, the technology should enable machines to develop solutions to complex problems without assistance from outside in a computer environment. Generally, An AI system has an agent that works in a specific environment. This could be a human or a robot equipped with sensors to use the domain better. For demonstration purposes, AI provided robots and computers to achieve goals using their sensors.

Interestingly, the ability to accomplish the goal highlights the efficiency of sensors and equipment installed. There is an immense scope of this technology for current and future applications. AI tech is already rampant in space exploration and medical care.

To say that AI is now in every field of life would be an understatement. We now have AI based solutions in e-commerce, healthcare, media, construction, and human resource. The internet may not survive a day without AI based solutions and big data. Cloud storage solutions are also making use of this technology at a grand scale. E-commerce is one of the fastest growing industries nowadays. It uses smart AI based solutions to keep the audience informed and updated about products. It was among the first industries to utilize this technology. Large corporations rely on this technology to keep their clients informed about the availability of products and services in their area. Chatbots software based intelligent assistants is now serving customers during odd hours of the day in different parts of the world. 

Besides, AI tech also helps maintain business and customer safety. Your website may be at risk if it is not encrypted, which is where the AI tech plays a pivotal role. It can also keep fake reviews and spam away from your business website. 

It can also optimize search for customers based on their requirements. Through optimization, customers get recommendations for the products that they may be looking for.

The future

The ongoing surge in applications using Artificial Intelligence is a telltale sign that it is here to stay. We will see the technology spread everywhere, and existing tech will grow more advanced and complex. Today’s Artificial Intelligence may become obsolete sooner than we think keeping in mind the pace at which it is progressing.
